Brittney Joi is an elite trained visual artist and painter from Southern California. Now living in Maryland, she earned her BA in Fine Arts from the University of California, Berkeley in 2005.
Brittney attended a year long intensive art program in Aix-en-Provence in the South of France at the renowned Marchutz School of Art, where she was immersed in the practice of art, art theory and art history, focused primarily in the Impressionist era.
Brittney continued her academic studies to pursue a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration and Policy from the University of California, Riverside. In Washington DC, Brittney served as Assistant Director of Admissions at famed Corcoran College of Art and Design, where she traveled throughout the country where she analyzed artistic portfolios of potential art students applying to Corcoran's highly competitive art programs.
Brittney's focus in creative arts, is to merge her experience in visual arts, textile designs in high-end fashion, technical and graphic design. In her spare time, she creates home art interior designs, graphic designs, commissioned portraits and paintings, and conducts art instruction classes and painting party events across the DMV area.
